Educational Qualifications - The educational qualification details for these posts are mentioned below.
  • Grade B Officer (General) - {a graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 60% of marks}
  • Grade B Officer (DEPR) - {a postgraduate degree in economics/ MA MSc in quantitative economics/ mathematical economics/ financial economics/ business economics/ agricultural economics/ industrial economics/ PGDM/ MBA with minimum 55% of marks} 
  • Grade B Officer (DSIM) - {a post graduate degree in statistics/ mathematical statistics/ mathematical economics/ econometrics/ statistics and informatics/ applied statistics and informatics/ mathematics/M.Stat/ PGDBA with minimum 55% of marks}.
Selection Method - For recruitment in the Reserve Bank of India, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the phase-1 written exam, Phase-2 written exam and personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests. 
 
Scheme of Selection - Selection will be through online examinations and interview. The online Phase 1 exam will held on (09-07-2023). Examinations will be held in two phases, as described below:
 
Phase 1 Online Exam 
  • General Awareness - (80 Questions, 80 Marks, 25 Minutes)
  • English Language - (30 Questions, 30 Marks, 25 Minutes)
  • Quantitative Aptitude - (30 Questions, 30 Marks, 25 Minutes)
  • Reasoning - (60 Questions, 60 Marks, 45 Minutes)
Phase-1 exam will comprise of 200 marks and a total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. 
 
Phase 2 Online Exam
Paper 1 - 
  • Economic and Social Issues (100 Marks, 120 Minutes)
  • English (Writing Skills) (40 Marks, 30 Minutes)
  • General Finance and Management (50 Marks, 120 Minutes).
Paper 2 - 
  • Descriptive Exam (English) - (90 Minutes, 3 Questions, 100 Marks)
Paper 3 - 
  • General Finance and Management - (120 Minutes, 50 Questions, 50 Marks).
