Salary/Pay and Grade Pay -  For civilian switch board operator post, the payable salary will be Rs 21,700 - 69,100 per month.

• Civilian Switch Board Operator - {10th pass}.

Selection Method - For recruitment in the HQ Southern Command, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test and skill test. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.

 

Syllabus and Exam Pattern -  The question paper for the following subjects will be conducted in English only. The computer-based exam will consists of following subjects

• General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 Questions, 25 Marks) 
• General Awareness (25 Questions, 25 Marks)
• General English (25 Questions, 25 Marks)
  
• Numerical Aptitude (25 Questions, 25 Marks).
  

The total number of questions for computer-based objective type exam will be 100 and total marks will be also 100. The duration exam of exam will be of 120 minutes and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer.
